本文以中国城市化的发展实践为背景 ,通过对城市化、农村城市化、农村城镇化以及城乡一体化等几个相关概念的比较、辨析 ,研究了城市化的基本内涵 ;在总结、分析不同发展阶段中国城市化发展动力机制的基础上 ,重点对改革开放以来中国城市化发展的四种主要动力机制进行了系统的研究和分析。

The paper,in the background of urbanization practices of China,compares the integration of cities and villages with urbanization in cities,urbanization in rural areas,and researches for the connotation of urbanization.After summarizing the experience and motive mechanisms in the different stages in its urban development,the author narrows his systematical analysis into the four motive mechanisms since China carried out the policy of reform and opening to the world.
